Corona Chronicles

So far, so good here at chez Cuddyclothes. The set-up of Jeff working in the bedroom and me in the living room/home office is working out. This morning he helped me take a large load of laundry to the basement. There was no one there. Every time I've looked at the building camera of the laundry room it's been empty. Probably in some part because so many tenants can't use their housekeepers. I've been really afraid to go there, hence large load.

However, I took a large spray can of Lysol. First sprayed the elevator button panel, then everywhere we would be touching anything on the machines. Jeff washed down the laundry basket. I don't put my clothes in the dryer, I hang them to dry up here. It's a relief, although there is truly an insane amount of clothing hung up everywhere!

Yesterday I took Fletcher for a walk down to Riverside Park. The Hudson River faces New Jersey. The sky and water were both a glorious shade of blue, so I couldn't resist taking pictures. There were a few people here and there. The dog run in the top picture on the right is closed. I never liked going there, because the owners ignored most of their dogs, so almost constant mayhem. Cut for large photos

Doesn't my mask bring out my eyes?

As far as our political life, well, I can't even. Whenever I find out anything about what's going on in Washington, I want to jump out of the window. It's a relief that Bernie dropped out, if only because I hope there are no more primaries.

My BFF is home recovering. She's eating and drinking and will be laid up for a long time. Thank God!!!!
