Can someone explain LJ Statistics to me?

So, there's the top chart with visits to your LJ.  So, an entry would have, say, 102 visits.

The second chart, views, is empty.  It's always empty.  Doesn't matter what I'm looking at.

What is the difference?  Why is the views chart always empty, no matter what the visits chart says?

Statistics, I suck at them.
