You folks have no idea what you're missing if you're not a member of http://housemd-what-if.livejournal.comThere are a huge amount of every kind of story you can kind imagine, and some you can't! A great deal is House/Wilson, too

I didn't get notice of a 'screen for spam' comment. Did you post it at house-what-if the rec list, or housemd-what-if the comm? Let's find a way to un-spam it. If LJ is being a pain, could you send it to me as a PM and I'll post it for you?
It was in reply to Cuddyclothes interview. I was thinking it was 'unspammed' at some point because I could see it but checking again its greyed out so maybe not.
That's happened to me on other comms before. My comment only showed up, only to me I presume, when I was logged on while viewing it. I'm bummed that I didn't get a notice from LJ saying there's a 'spam' comment that I can take action on (i.e., approve so it will post publicly). I just fiddled with the comm settings and I *think* I clicked the right box for this to happen. This is my first comm moderation experience, so I'm learning. Far as I can tell you're a member with posting access.
Try posting your comment again. If that still doesn't work...
1. Maybe you could post a test comment there - with no html or links - and see if it shows up when you're not logged in.
2. I'm pretty certain that if you PM me the comment I can paste it on the post and indicate it was written by you.
That's all I can think of right now to problem-solve this. Fingers crossed...
I cut and pasted it into a new comment and got the 'your message has been marked as spam' again so I just deleted it. I had a feeling I knew what phrase was triggering the spam filter so I got rid of that and it went through that time.
I'm supposed to get an email every time someone posts a comment to the comm. It's like an exciting cc to me. But I still never got one saying it was marked as spam (though I remember getting those on my personal LJ years ago).
I got an email with your new comment in full and it did not indicate anything about it being spam that I could un-spam.
Then I got an email with your edited comment that posted fine.
In case it was the link, I added "ff.net" to the whitelist of links that can be posted in comments and not be considered spam. Or so LJ would lead me to believe. So if you decide you want to edit your comment and add back in the bit you took out, go forth and experiment!
(And thanks cuddyclothes for letting us hash this out on your LJ. Next time I'll use PMs. But maybe you'll find our little spam/unspam journey useful if it happens to you in the future.)
Nope - added back the ff.net bit and it spammed it again! I think it was the bit I quoted but in the interest of not spamming Cuddyclothes with millions of notifications I think I'll give it away :)
