Well, that certainly blew. Not as badly as The Episode That Shall Not Be Named from last season, but it was pretty rank. The creators threw everything into the blender and hoped for a nice blood smoothie, but instead it was wheatgrass juice.
From the moment it began, I KNEW Sam was going to say, "There's no place like home." Because he doesn't see the Batcave as home blah blah blah the boys discuss Sam's idea of home while doing something important blah blah and Sam's room makes Crowley's dungeon look pretty smooth. Thanks for the anvils. My foot's still throbbing.
My basic reaction to the episode was annoyance. Dorothy is L.Frank Baum's daughter? Really? The character was well-written (always good to have a tough woman around), but they didn't use the words "lady parts" in the 1930s. I'm too tired to write much more, but Zeke has to stop bringing people back to life. Not only is it a deus ex machina, Sam getting smashed around and then waking up going 'Bzuh'? is getting so repetitive somebody should start a drinking game.
I hope Charlie comes back. But I also hope they don't write a lot of "adorable" dialogue about her adventures in Oz.
The Wicked Witch...I really am too tired to write about that. Fail.
