Oh, dear...gave my husband a chapter...(personal)
After an uncomfortable discussion about my fic, I gave the chapter where House spikes the punch to the hub (I had to make sure there was nothing sexy/romantic/whatever in it). He REALLY doesn't want to read it. The sad thing is, there is a fair amount of my stage work and other writing that he doesn't come to see or read, because it upsets him to see his wife doing stuff. (Male drag, among other things. If I ever get it off videotape and uploaded to YouTube I'll put up some links.) Anyway, I know he's going to hand it back saying something like, "oh." Don't get me wrong, he's been extremely supportive of my writing the fic, he just doesn't want to read it.
Meanwhile, my fic has been stalled by my main bugaboo...RESEARCH! I can't believe how hard it is to find out about certain things!!!! And by stalled I mean THE NEXT GODDAMNED CHAPTER! During the weekend we were too busy for me to spend much time on the 'puter, so today I'm going to give it the old college try.
It occurs to me that most people won't understand half the expressions I've used in this chapter.
