I would laugh my ass-off if the secondary symptom was lupis!

If you've ever had some one in your life with cancer, stage II ain't that bad.

Here's where it actually talks about the different Stage II's that this very slow moving and curable cancer has. Along with proper visual aids! :D

Yeah, my dad died of Stage 4 cancer, but my mom's had late-stage lymphoma for 6 years so far.

My sister was diagnosed with stage IIB cancer. Her oncologist told her flat out "You are not going to die. When you look back on this 40 years from now, this will just be the year you had cancer." Seven years later she's still cancer-free.

Reading "Polite Dissent" after this episode is extremely enlightening, and helps one to understand just HOW clumsy and flatfooted they are about Wilson's cancer.

Hey cuddyclothes,

Thanks for changing the title of this post... but it already spoiled me in the email alert saying you had a new post. Oh well, I've been reading spoilers via house-md-news for a few months now :)

Also... I did a little more reading. Sometimes thymomas can progress more rapidly, and invade surrouding tissues, and even metastasize to more remote areas of the body via the blood, lymph, etc. At least wiki article on Thymus says so.

Not that canon is known for being particularly medically acurate. But the drama will be there.

But anyway, this is the stuff that fic dreams are made of. Ah, the fic-y possibilities.

And speaking of being inspired by canon to write more sick!fic, where's all the sick!Chase fic that I expected after his injury arc this season? Show Chase some love, yo.

Annnnnnnd, sick!Wiloneers: ready... GO!

I always got to the American Cancer Society. They realize real people with the disease and their family members read their site and they always present their statistics and outlook with a softer touch. Also, they tend to use easier to understand language.

Anyway, their info is better (and more reassuring) than NCIs. On the other hand, it is David Shore at the helm and he doesn't like to leave anyone unscathed. I am hoping that Wilson only winds up battered, but not dead.

LMAO at "spoiler" in the post title :). I might have ranted about the proper use of lj cuts, but I'm actually in a forgiving mood, because I can understand you're upset. I don't know how I can work today knowing I can't watch this until tonight, though.

You and I both! I'm currently counting down to the time I get to go home and check out what just everyone has been moaning and groaning and wailing about so that I can join in too ;)

I'd bend over to be spanked, but I'd enjoy it entirely too much.
I love you. Seriously.
