Comedies Never Get The Oscar Nominations
I'm feeling annoyed and self-pitying tonight. None of my fics get recc'd. Okay, I'm totally childish and disregarding the phenomenally talented authors out there. I KNOW THAT.
But Jesus, I've written about a gazillion House/Wilson fics, not all crack but mostly humor, and I have yet to see ONE on anybody's recomedation list. I don't expect "The Princess And The Peeved" to be recommended because it's so utterly AU. But man, I write like nobody's goddamn business and just ONCE I'd like to get recc'd.
Getting lots of comments about how funny my stories are and then not getting recc'd...I guess people only want to rec the emotionally resonant, angsty fics. Humor isn't worth it.
(Although this post is rife for being told, "I'll rec you to go fuck yourself, you whining twerp ".)
