Things I like about having a boy
I have an excuse to play video games. Not that I am not an enlightened woman that can do what ever she wants; and that if I am ever blessed with a daughter I will of course introduce her to the joys of the electronic entertainment; but there is something very satisfying about being able to sit down with my son when I should be doing other things and play 30 minutes of Lego Star Wars and call it "family time".
On an slightly related note, Timon and Pumba (animated TV show based on the two characters from the Lion King) just made a reference to 1984 (double plus ungood). Just goes to show you that if you aren't well read you won't understand children's television programs.
