I just don't know about Marilyn Monroe. I keep coming back and checking her out - I've known girls who had posters of her on the wall, cultural icon, etc. There's all this push to celebrate her as the true example of beauty. Just watched the 7 Year Itch again. Tom Ewell's physical acting is fabulous. But Tchaikovsky playing while a blonde bombshell walks in with a vulgar leopard print dress...I don't know.
The rest of it is irritating. She's an idiot, and whenever men get around her, they become idiots. After about 30 minutes of breathy fluttering, I had to turn it off.
