Okay so first things first - I'm curious about the title because I feel like I know where it's from and yet it's hovering on the tip of my memory - I can think of wild and young but bold? This is bugging me to no end and I WON'T GIVE UP AND RESORT TO GOOGLE

First of all pink-haired Jongin is perfect. And then I find out about the flower shop at the end and I'm getting ahead of myself here but there's something about pink-haired Jongin - even though it's the same person of course, there's just something - a certain je ne sais quoi about it. An extra softness, an extra tinge of magic.

But I digress.

I like piano teacher Junmyeon (and I know you wrote it Joonmyun but I'll just refer to him as Junmyeon here, no complaints about spelling but I know I'll slip up so I'll just aim for consistency and I hope that's okay.) and I like how he gets frustrated with repetition (and poor renditions of Für Elise!) and his friends are SO Baekhyun and Jongdae but also so - well meaning but absolutely infuriating. I love it.

Also poor Minho he's such a muffin (and I do like me some 2ho) but I 100% blame Jongdae here and I hope he apologizes profusely and I hope Minho finds a nice somebody. Maybe Seokjin. (That would be ultra cute, now that I think about it. They could both be accountants and smashingly sexy in their suits and then go home and bake cakes and have 2.5 children and a white picket fence and Yura and Hyeri for neighbours.) Okay all Minho-related guilt has been diffused!

Junmyeon never seems to recognize how attractive he is - like he takes off his tie and stuff and puts of jeans and a SLEEVELESS and he's somehow boring. *wonders at the mysteries of the universe* Luckily, pink-haired boy with good taste can look past the surface (or maybe look at the surface and see what's actually there)

Oh I must interject that the line dancing on his own reminded be of Robyn's classic Dancing on my own and YES VERY GOOD GOOD VERY GOOD I know it's not related but very good good yes ♡

Anyway, I love how Junmyeon still doesn't think much of it but then Jongin comes to find him AGAING because YES boy is interested. And then when Jongdae doesn't get the hint (honestly Jongdae, you're slowing up the process with Minho and Seokjin, just let the poor guy go so he can quietly slip outside and find Seokjin just tucking severely drunk Taehyung and Jimin into taxis when he turns around to see Minho, a crease on his forehead and Seokjin is still in mothering-mode so so a friendly inquiry turns into drinks at a [different] bar turns into exchanged phone numbers and the rest is history. Oops. I'm not supposed to headcanon in a comment. Oh well.) of course the most logical thing is for Jongin to kiss Junmyeon BECAUSE HE'S BEEN WANTING TO TASTE THOSE SOFT LIPS ALL EVENING and thank you actually Jongdae for the opportunity.

BACK TO REGULAR COMMENTING PROGRAM

So really, it makes sense that they end up going home together but Junmyeon isn't that guy and Jongin isn't that guy and the way they slow it right down is excellent, like the drop out, the slow down and then, fingers running over keys, skin warm on skin, breath on a neck and tiny hair ruffled, the music gradually builds and builds and the wrong notes sound and the tempo increases and then BAM the beat drops and fireworks and yes. This is what we were waiting for.

But it isn't everything. It's only a small piece of Junmyeon and Jongin and there's just as much magic about mornings and boys who love their mom and smile when they talk to her and and have special ringtones. And SERIAL KILLER KYUNGSOO (hahahahahahhahahha :p)

I was surprised when Jongin didn't come back? I figured there was a story behind it, but in a way (a lot of ways) I really liked this breathing space. Junmyeon could look at himself, come to some realizations, make some decisions (like dying his hair blond - ALWAYS a good decision in my books) and also I love that Chanyeol (I wonder about his story too; I like Chanyeol the hairdresser who's cool and hip and kind of edgy and I wonder if he likes rock music but has a soft squishy adorable niece who adores him ♡ ) and then - isn't it always like that? The mystery, the unattainable was always ever only a step away, but sometimes the puzzle pieces are in separate boxes and you never think to even trying to match them together.

Jongin, with pink hair, in a flower shop, is perfect. (Also I forgot to mention Myungsoo as one of his mother's employees - A+ and I hope Myungsoo and Jongin were childhood friends and played in the sandbox). Of course it turns into kissing and OF COURSE his mom was always trying to match them up and sometimes mom's do know everything.

And I feel like I forgot everything I wanted to say and I DEFINITELY forgot to say that I loved the tension of the piano playing frottage; it was almost, not quite, but kind of like the sweetest orgasm denial, because Junmyeon KEEPS TRYING TO PLAY THE PIANO BUT HE KEEPS GETTING DISTRACTED and it's absolutely delicious. Music never sounded sweeter.

Actually it's the idea I suggested to you once about in bloom book two with seokjin (or anyone) the new worker in the flower shop - like a bts layer of main characters but introduced slowly into your already established and evolving exo characters - I don't think anyone has ever done anything like this before.

But like - it's your story ofc and idk if you're interested but it's just something I think about a lot. (Every other day) lol

Why do I feel like this is the first time I've heard this idea but then we talk about so many aus and possible aus and my memory is so atrocious that's it's quite likely you did orz.
