General stuff 'n' Nonsense
Hey all!
I'm procrastinating once again, as it's that time of year when revision must be done, but no motivation is to be found anywhere. Rewards work, which is good, but my rewards, at the moment being 2 episodes of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, are running out, because I'm on disc 7/7, and only have 3 episodes left! Meep! But I planned ahead and bought Cowboy Bebop from eBay on Tuesday, so that should arrive by Monday and I can once again look forward to an hour of anime every night as a reward for working nicely. Or nearly every night, nights when I'm not at Anime club or spending time with the one they call Will. Who is my new friend (yes, just a friend), and we have much fun watching...anime (there's a pattern to my life, can you see it? Well, the Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills, as they say. Or as Robert Jordan says, at least) and other DVD like things.
So it's nearly a year since my Abelia/NTHT obsession began, and I'm pretty much over it now, hoorah! Helps that i discovered the Major and her pals in Section 9, and got addicted to Wheel of Time, and Soul Calibur, and had to do essays and stuff. But don't get me wrong, just because I'm not obsessed, doesn't mean I won't be exploiting NTHT in my doodles anymore. Bwahaha. AABELIAAA!!!
I got 75 in my Kafka essay, woop - that's less than my last lit essay, mainly because my referencing was sloppy. But i did write the essay the sunday before it was due in, whilst talking online, so not bad, considering.
Does anyone remember an ITV kids programme called 'The Dreamstone'? About the Dreammaker and his struggle against Zordrak, to stop him getting the Dreamstone and sending Nightmares to people for ever more? Well, IT'S BEEN RELEASED ON DVD! AND I HAVE IT! GAAAAAA!!! I love Zordrak. He's the best Lord of Nightmares, ever, though I do question his choice of lackies. They suck.
Ok, I'd better at least start this history revision before I meet Jo to get essay feedback and give her some books, or else I'll not get anything done before going to see the Will tonight. Yay for evenings of anime and friendship and stuff!
