Random title...ignore it. Anyways,
Why is it that some people have to be so completely nasty to customer service reps? Now, I'm not saying that customer service reps are the greatest people on Earth or anything, but c'mon...cut us some slack please? Like this morning, this woman had a coffee and a small drink. She got her coffee and not her small drink, she came back through drive-thru and proceeded to yell at the entire restaurant about how they always "forget" her small pop and she has to come back through. My manager looks at me after she left and goes, "If I bought two drinks, I'd make sure I had them before I left then I wouldn't have to go back through the darn drive-thru." I chuckled and agreed. Me working in fast food for probably 2.5 years or so altogether, I understand where they come from and that mistakes happen and it ticks me off royally when anyone goes off about something, just because we're all human...we make mistakes. I hate that people that come into a fast food restaurant think they're all above us because we work here and they work somewhere more extravagent like a doctor's office or something~~they make mistakes, so do we...get over it.
Above that, I am now working at Walgreens~~I think it's kind-of ironic because a few guys I know down in Florida work in Walgreens and I met them on World of Warcraft and now I'm working at one...kinda funny coz I might eventually transfer down there if I so choose to move down there...which I would like to in the very near future. But anyways, my manager doesn't like to keep track of the 2 nights I need off for my fire class~~monday and wednesday so I get griped at if I tell him I can't work those nights, but /shrug...I think I'll enjoy working there so I'm gonna keep on it and I find something that I feel suits me better, then I will move on, but for now...I like it.
I'm finally getting out of debt after a few months of unemployment...almost all of it is paid off so I'm happy about that. Only 2 marks on my credit, which isn't great, but isn't bad either, so I'm gonna get a loan for school and work on paying it back monthly and hopefully that'll help build my credit back up. I also sold my truck, which helped a lot and with the car I'm going to get, I should have 1-2 years for it to get me through til I can get the vehicle I really want so I'm also excited about that. Lately, life's been rather good to me and I'm really enjoying it...a few people get me down, but I can handle them for the most part ;-P I've always got one person that is almost always making me smile and laugh each time we talk so I think I'll keep him around for quite a bit longer ;-P Speaking of which, I have a phone call to make :-D Maybe I'll actually start using this thing again now..hehe... ;-P Later...
