Do you ever have one of those days where you just resent the fact that you have to be near other people? I'm having one of those days today. It seems that everywhere I go, I am being sucked into other people's drama, and somehow, I become a part of the whole thing. Why is it that people are like that? Eh, my feeling is that sometimes you need to talk about it, sometimes you shouldn't. My problem is that I am a big, loud man, and therefore, when I have something to say, it gets said, regardless of whether it's a "need to talk about it" or "shouldn't talk about it" moment. Ahhhh the merits of being a big, loud man :)

Ya know, Mike, you are a close friend and I've known you for many long years. If you have a problem, talk away, Big Loud Man. I know you well enough to know that any thing that is upsetting you is big enough to upset me as well. And even if it isn't, since I care about you, I care about the problem. So there ya go. :)

Thank you for the birthday wishes :) It was the kind of day that could have been a total train wreck and came out being really chill and really fun, so I can't complain. Yeah, being a BLM (LOL) isn't such a bad thing... People pretty much know where you stand on everything, which is pretty sweet :) Thanks for the assurances that I've got good taste in deciding what's bothersome.... You know, sometimes BLMs worry about that kind of a thing. They say, "You know, am I the only one bothered by the existence of pigeons?" It's reassuring :) Ok, time to go back to being slightly buzzed and celebratory.... Cheers! *clicks glass*

I'd like to rush to your defense too, here, Mike. Sure, you're a BLM. However, you are not a MDABLM (short for MeloDramatic Angsty Big Loud Man). You don't sit around kvetching about the horrible life fate has handed you (or the horrible fate life has handed you, as it were). You're more amusing than anything else. And it's nice to know when someone is upset about something - such as the existence of pigeons. Better than having to sit around guessing what the hell they're in a funk about.

Oh - and Happy Belated Birthday! Glad that things went well...
