(no subject)
Right this minute I am at school, in the computer lab, dressed as a semi-sexy Jedi Knight. (The semi is because my tunic doesn't like to stay all the way closed, so I has cleavage.)
Tomorrow the costume gets ironed and whipped out for a second time, except the second iteration will include a rainbow-striped hair extension braided and stuck behind my ear, as well as a big purple button on my tunic that says "SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS GAY".
Yes, that's right, I'm going as a Prideawan.
I am intensely disappointed in my campus because I have seen absolutely no one else in costume. Not even a single tasteless zombie Michael Jackson. COME ON, GUYS, I HAD SUCH HIGH HOPES FOR YOU.
Anyway.
Tonight the fam is all going out to see a mostly-dance-with-some-spoken-word version of Dracula, and last Sunday heerojf and I went to see Evil Dead: The Musical (where we got absolutely covered in cherry kool-aid), so all in all it's been a pretty festive week.
Tomorrow I might just stay in and re-watch Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi--FOR SCHOOL, EVEN. In my English 101 class (which is pretty much a thorough retread of stuff I did in middle school--though I'm not really complaining since half of my classmates speak English as a second language) we have to do a compare and contrast essay.
So I'm doing mine on how Episodes 3 and 6 correspond to events in Joseph Campbell's monomyth.
