Test results came back today--I'm anemic. Which probably explains my tiredness as well. Hurrah. I have an iron deficiency. Have to start taking iron tablets and get another blood test (another!!!) in 3 months. So, hopefully that will solve the problem. I have too much iron - 216ng/mL. I got my iron panel blood test done yesterday to see if it's going down. Do you want some of my iron?

How do you get rid of iron? And where did you get so much?! It'd be awesome if you could give me some. I don't like pills. :p

My doctor blames the vitamins. Pre blood test, I was taking Women's Formula Vitamins with 100% of my daily iron. It appears that I am not a person who need to supplement iron. I have stopped taking it, so now I am getting blood tests to see if my iron continues to go up or goes down.

My iron is down to 99 which is still high but "safe"! Weird.

What's "normal"? I should probably know that, huh? Ha. You're already getting rechecked? I have to wait 3 months!

I got my first blood test at the beginning of December so it's been 2 months. It took me that long to decide to go to the doctor and get an appt so he just did a blood test right then. I don't like doctors.

Normal seems to very based on what website you read, but my blood test report says that normal is 25-135...It's higher for guys.

I found this website helpful: http://www.irondisorders.org/
