Chris arrived in Champaign shortly after 5. I cooked dinner. We ate while watching the Sox game and discussed our days at work. Around 7 we left for Assembly Hall, where we spent the next 4 and a half hours listening to great damn music. Kaiser Chiefs opened for Weezer and the Foo Fighters. This is the 3rd time (maybe the 4th, I can't quite remember) that I've seen Weezer in a timespan of a period of over 10 years. Wow. And I still remembered all the words. :) Second viewing of the mighty Foo. Fun, fun times. Bedtime.
This morning I got to have breakfast with my boy. And we watched last night's Boston Legal together before he headed back to the 'burbs to go to work.
I savored every moment.
And now, I have to finish getting ready and head to work myself. Such is life. :)
