excerpt from the book Michael Leddy “Yet Another TV Review Book. The 2007/2008 TV Season”

thanks to ppistachio

"The episode has many highlights. The lap dance by Cuddy being one of them. It’s a series highlight, never mind an episode highlight (!), and it’s one of the sexiest things I’ve seen on TV. Truly, this is the stuff that fantasies are made of. Kudos to Greg House for having such a great fantasy life. I loved the scene for many, many reasons. Not only because Lisa Edelstein has such an amazing body (she has!) but because she knew exactly how to do the dance (those close ups on her mischievous stare being one of the best things about the whole scene). Why, oh why, aren’t this two characters hooked up on the show?"

little mention in the article about Tama Janowitz:

New York Magazine 14 Jul 1986

PS.

immediately recall a story from an article 'Lisa in Wonderland' about Lisa and Tama:

"Patrick [McMullan] mexplains, that Lisa might be up for a role in the movie of the Tama Janowitz short-story collection, ''Slaves of New York,'' about the men and women who hang out downtown. Andy Warhol, the artist and editor of Interview magazine, has bought the rights to the book.

Lisa and Patrick ran into Warhol at a dinner party one night, and Patrick immediately began lobbying.

''Lisa would be perfect for the role,'' Patrick said. ''Yes, yes,'' Warhol answered in his vague way.

''She'd also be perfect for a story in Interview,'' Patrick persisted. ''Yes, yes,'' Warhol said. Realizing he was up against a blank wall with the pale Guru of the Night, Patrick went for broke. ''She's also selling Girl Scout cookies,'' he announced. ''Can she put you down for five boxes?'' ''Yes,'' Warhol nodded. ''Yes.''

what a pity that this idea is not embodied.. :(
