This journal entry marks the
end of an era. Much like
Castro's decision to resign as El Presidente.

head of eBay's retirement.
It occurred to me upon reading about Castro that the term 'End of an Era' has become another media headline cliche. It probably has been for some time. I do, however believe that it is appropriate for someone as significant as Castro.... but the term loses its impact when thrown around recklessly for humans of lesser importance. A simple
Google News search reveals that it seems to be used in headlines for completely different topics around the world every few hours.
And I don't know why, but this saddens me.
