(no subject)
this has been a funky week.
so on saturday, i went to dance. neen got stepped on, then i stepped on myself. when i was putting a bandaid on my toe (i like dug some nail off of my big toe), i heard someone say "what happened?" and janine was all "you know how i got stepped on? well she stepped on herself!" haha it was absolutely hilarious and i didn't even get any blood on my latin shoe! the medals routines are awesome. see, even latin dancing doesn't really start getting flirty/sexy until silver, which is what i'm taking now. and rumba happens to be a mating dance from south america (no joke). and paso (dance of the bullfight from spain) is my all-time favorite. in it, the guy is the bullfighter and the girl is alternately the bull or the cape, so it's really fun.
then in the evening pat, jordan, laura, and i went to citywalk. pat got me sunflowers (my favorite) :] and now they're in a vase and they make my room happier. dad gave us a tour of universal amphitheatre (we got to go in the dressing rooms and on the stage and stuff. it was really cool. there was one room completely filled with white roses. it smelled amazing!) then we had dinner at buca di beppo, which was veryyyy good. i hadn't been there since laura's birthday party more than a year ago. then we hung around citywalk. pat got me a carmel apple (mmmmmmmmmmmmm) and i found "puff the magic dragon" on a music box, so i got it. then we went to laura's and watched triumph the comic dog clips. that is one horny dog.
on sunday i had church, lunch at oma's with the cousins for aunt karen's birthday, and orchestra. church was okay, lunch was delicious, and orchestra was pretty boring. i finished the screwtape letters, which is an amazing book (in other words, go read it. you know miss wormwood from calvin and hobbes? you know, the teacher? she's based after one of the characters in that book).
Monday was ih. ate half a jar of peanut butter. felt better.
Tuesday i was sick enough that i didn't have to go to school. not fun and amazingly relaxing at the same time. had a doctor appt.
today (wednesday/fridayish) was okay. no block day. no harp today. nothing to do. ichhhhh.
tomorrow: harp in the morning, in-car driving lesson w/valley bob's in the afternoon, playing at un partido de futbol americano en el noche. va a ser...... fun? perhaps. i hope it rains.
