so I got rejected from reed, but I think I'm really okay with that.

it's weird not knowing what school I want to end up at now, but it'll all work out. I'm still thankful for good friends.

it's also really weird having the process I started a few months ago end so bluntly. but I'm glad it's overoverover.

You know, you really shouldn't let your mother talk to my mother about your behavior, because then you get these really awkward comments on your livejournal from me.

As in, I don't know. Just don't freak out, okay? It just really sucks that you might have to go to some piece of shit in-state school. It fucking sucks. And I guess I blame you for it. Because you're way too smart to have let that happen to you. Also, I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know. But I miss you. As in, you. You caring about yourself and what happens to you. So I'm glad that that's back to an extent at least. And I'm allowed to say this because there's no way that I can't, even if I don't know you as well as I used to.

Contrary to popular belief, all in-state schools aren't pieces of shit and they don't really fucking suck. I was bummed when my parents said I couldn't go to California for school but I'm so happy where I am I know that it was a good choice.

Your time in college is what you make of it. If you're miserable with where you are it's going to suck, if you accept what you've been given and make the most out of all the oppertunities provided you're going to have a blast.

Completely disregard all that Lauren has to say. When I wasn't accepted to McGill, I had to be held down because I wanted to kill myself so bad. Going to a school in state is basically the worst thing in the world for anyone. I just shake with violent depression and rage every time I go to class, check my DU e-mail or go to a dorm that has something to do with DU. As of now, your life is formally over, and, perhaps, if you chose, you could spend your time in misery and loathing right along with me. Just give up now. There is a no light at the end of the tunnel. Just a thick, black wall...and it has rusty spikes on it.
