I got a phone I'm thoroughly happy with. I went to the Cingular in Waterford Town Center, and they treated me (AND MY MOTHER!!!) like crap. They lied and said that I couldn't have my old number, that it would cost extra, that the money I had put on my phone would be gone completely. They didn't even have a phone in stock that I liked, so I went across the street to the Cingular across the street. (I know, ridiculous, but so is the Walgreen-CVS issue).
Oh! New little update from Tracy! lol...
"They'll let you keep your number, they have to. A law was passed that phone companies have to let your keep your phone number under any circumstances if you wish to keep it. No matter if you switch plans, phone, or even providers."
The little jerks broke a law. What crap.
Anyway, back to my story. So we went across the street, totally different story. They not only let me keep the number, they transfered the money from the previous SIM card unto mine, as well as all my numbers. I got to keep my voicemail messages and everything.
And my phone is so tiny. But I need a name for him! HELP PLEASE!!!!
I am one thoroughly happy dudette.
