I woke up this morning from a very long and very nice sleep, and the first thought that crossed my head was "Oh, I don't have a show today." And that was a slightly unhappy thought.
I am very happy to be involved in a show right now, and Man is going smoothly. I almost feel like this weekend was kinda test run, and next weekend will be the real deal. I think it's just because we didn't have the one weekend show cram session we used to normally do. The cast is wonderful; it's nice to be a part of a family again. I am just extremely content to do my favorite type of make-up, old age.
I was sitting and watching from the wings during some acts on both Friday and Saturday, and it really makes me want to be onstage. It's been such a long time, and I am anticipating auditions for the one acts.
Anyways; the cast is doing a great job, for all the trouble we've had. So keep it up! Let's sell those damn tickets! Because I think 90 people is the lowest we've ever had for attendance of a mainstage show. I think we should have a dress up day; Mrs. Thermond is cool with it, so I think I will propose the idea to Mr. Mahle.
