Med School Blog Week 69 Post #45

Medical School is all about firsts, and i have finally encountered yet another. Renal is the first course that i havent had med student hypochondriacal syndrome and diagnosed myself with some disease that we have studied. Although i might have whatever the opposite of Raynaud's phenomenon is in my middle finger of the left hand. This semester is going by in light years, hopefully that will stay true for the whole year. Hockey is God's greatest invention. I must admit, I miss the old BRUHA, knowing every single person in the league, having pretty good competition, real games, and yes, i even miss reffing. But even just having a pick up game to play every week makes it seem like i truly have a life for some reason. Sure, you can go out and drink or party, go to BR and do shit, go wherever, but med school is always in the back of your mind. Whenever i get on the ice its like none of that matters, i am completely detached from reality for a full 60 minutes...or at least, I am in a second reality since according to Marion, reality is what a person perceives so you can never really be detached from reality, since you will always be in whichever one you are perceiving. Wow, am i really talking about FLG group on LJ? Thats pathetic. More interesting than the kidney neoplasms though.

Most importantly:

Status: 34.68% M.D. (Thats more than 1/3 for those of you who failed algebra)
