So I've recently decided to add the craft of card making to my repertoire. (<--- A French word...I'm learning!)I know I always like getting a fun card in the mail so I figured what the hell- I'll make them too. It's a little more expensive than anticipated but that's alright. I'm a working lady now ;) The possibilities are endless. (and overwhelming) Look for a cute card in a mailbox near you!
Speaking of learning French, and France. Here's an update. It looks like Daniel is going to go to SOS (squadron officer school) in roughly October. That means we will be able to get our orders cut before he leaves and get our house all packed up and outta here in September sometime. I'll live with my parents because I don't see the point of going to Alabama for 5 weeks and sitting on my duff. We plan on leaving Alaska right before Christmas time :( French class starts January 7th in Monterey which will put us in France early August. SO, make your travel plans for some time after that.
Other than that not much else is happening. I have to admit, I'm really eager to move. It's not that I want to leave AK, it's that I REALLY want to just get to France already AND get my puppy! I've already done some research and it looks like there is a doggie day care in Monterey that little Trouble Pants will be attending and I fully intend to get a place that accepts small dogs. If it's just an apartment (which it looks like it will be) than I might consider doing joint custody with Daniel's parents. I don't know, we'll figure out those details in the coming months.
