And The Countdown Is....
3 more days!! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited I could jump up out of my seat.
I had a fabulous 4 day weekend. Gotta use the sick leave! :) It was mostly just relaxing. Went and got the bridesmaid dress altered and I think I will definitely need to lose about 5 lbs. before April 29th. Hopefully I can pull that off! Did some shopping at Best Buy (shocker) and then met up with my brother and his lady for drinks at Sea Galley. I really don't like that place at all. It's such an interesting crowd that shows up there on weekend nights. Then dinner at my parents house as a little farewell for Nick. I'm sad to see him go. It was kind of neat having him live in AK for a little while. I got to know my brother as a partial adult which was something I thought I'd never see. Hopefully one day we can live near each other again. I think eventually him and Nicole want to live up here and so do Daniel and I so maybe then! Only 10 years away! :)
My Grandma is very ill. Her and my Mom talked the other day and she told my Mom that she's giving up and ready to "check out." She talked about how it really sucks living the way she is. Taking 30 pills a day and running on oxygen. It just sucks. So she told my Mom that she loved her and she knew she never said it enough and it was just ugly. My Mom was a blubbering idiot which of course turned me into a blubbering idiot...just bad bad bad. Needless to say I'll be making a trip to CO, most likely next week, to go see her before she slips away. It's sad, but she's lived a long fruitful life and I wouldn't want to live that way either.
On a happy note, this is my LAST Tuesday at ITS EVER! Thank you DEAR LORD.
