I have the softest spot for curmudgeonly medics. Even more so for those whom I don't see a lot written about, so Doc Bryan is a bit of a personal no-brainer. Brunmeier I can't fully explain, but something about him compels me to squish him like a puppy. He's also not very much written about, so if he doesn't speak to you, feel free to pick up Nate Fick instead. (And smoosh him together with Doc Bryan. >3)
I've also got a definite thing for desperate situations - end of the world, zombies, supernatural happenings, so if you'd like to explore an AU/fusion scenario, go for it! I adore angst and tragedy, so yes, go ahead, lay it on thick. It doesn't have to end happily, either, I'll take a well-done bad ending any day, and with glee, because I'm a terrible person, and somehow, I don't see enough good bad endings. Barring that, slice-of-life, or future fic is brilliant, too. Whether it goes into slash, or stays in gen, anything exploring their relationships will always be welcomed.
And because Marines will always be Marines, playing up that roughshod, aggressive masculinity is a huge huge perk in my book - about the only stipulation I have, is that they don't turn into valleygirls... or they could, in parody! xD
