I went down to Richmond this weekend to do a demo w/ a pitstop in Fredericksburg to do another on the way back. I got to Richmond Saturday around noon and met Mom's date for the evening. Her date, John, and I helped Mom clean the gutters and set-up her Christmas tree. This put a lump in my throat of painful nostalgia. It's not the same w/out Anne and Dad in the house. At least Anne's someone I can still visit and after my demo in fact I stayed at her and her husband's house. They're place is GORGEOUS and we'll be spending Christmas there. They also are almost finished w/ the barn and need to have the bulk of what's left down by January 1 in order to keep their work permit. I'm so proud of ehr. I remember back in high school when becoming an architect and building barns for horses was her dream. Well, she at least got to pretend to be an architect to amend the work permits, but the barn is up, and it's something to be proud of. I'm proud of my little sister. She made her dream come true and that's so inspiring to me.
The demo I did today actually got me another LJ friend. Say hi to everybody plsrkity!
