Very much a fun evening
After a drag of a meeting for work, I went with Joel to see MC Chris. And the opening bands were awesome. The Eergs were a typical punk type band, but exceptionally well for an opening act in a small venue. The next group came out to set up and warm up. In their collection of instruments on stage were: a tuba, a trombone, a trumpet, an accordian, keyboard, guitars, and a drum kit. Before they played I liked them. Their name, SNMNMNM. Crazy songs that are kinda quarky and cool, hell they put a synthesizer on the tuba!
MC Chris. Deserves his own paragraph. For those of you who are unaware as I was a while ago who this is..... "my name is shake schoola, the mic rula......" ring any bells? He is not only a great hip hop MC but quite the comedian as well. I could type out some of the outrageous jokes, but i am tired.
