Yesterday was my routine 3 month visit to the family doctor. I go every 3 months to have everything checked out, ie blood levels, vitals, sugar etc...
Well, when the doctor walked in he was beaming with good news (which I was hoping for). He started out saying, well we got some good news here, looks as if the surgery was a success. You are down 102 lbs from last July, you are NO LONGER a diabetic and all of the test that was performed from the blood drawn came back in the normal range.
At this point, he has decreased the metformin from 1000mg twice a day to 500mg twice a day. Maybe at the next visit in Sept, he will cut it out completely.
Well its that time, time to get myself to work. We have lots of projects going on here at the house, basement is getting started on July 1 (we are finishing the basement, putting in a fitness room, study and family/game room) this will add another 987 sq ft living space to the house and still have plenty of storage space. Also planning on installing a pool table in the game room. Landscaper is coming out this afternoon to give us an estimate on installing a 30X20 patio and been busy installing flowerbeds on both sides of the house.
Grandson #2 arrives in an estimated 4 weeks. Will send pics as soon as the bundle arrives.
