Well geez...I'm always shitty at keeping up with this thing! A lot has happened since my last post! I graduated and moved from California to Virginia and several other small things. Let's see...the last month of school went really good! It was a lot of fun! Graduation went good, I got about $8,000 in scholarships, and some achievement awards but I still need A LOT more money! A lot of my family came for graduation, there were about 40 people at my family graduation party. I made some decent money from graduation, around $3,000. However, sadly that is pretty much all spent! I used some of it to move with and I've used a lot of it just paying for all of the little shit that I didn't realize you have to buy!
Erika B. and I drove from CA to VA in 47 hours! The trip sucked, but at least we got it over with quickly! We made it one full day ahead of our schedule. After I got here, I had to go to my ODU preview which was really cool! I met a couple of really cool people and I am REALLY excited for school to start. I recently started working at American Eagle, but I am still looking for another job or two because I am only getting $5.85/hr! Minimum wage here SUCKS, I think Min. wage is like $5.15 or $5.25/hr. At least I am getting more than that! I don't get to work a lot of hours there though, so I need some supplemental income!
Things are definitely different for me now though. I am already TERRIBLY homesick! I miss all of my friends and my family. I talk to them all quite a bit, but I just hope we keep it up! I can't imagine a life w/out all of them being an active part of it, however it's all starting to become a sad reality! Things in my life have been changing really dramatically and it almost seems like nothings the same from one day to the next. It's weird, I'm terrified but I'm also really happy. I've never felt quite like this before. The following lyrics kind of describes where I'm at right now...

Anyways, I guess I better get going, I need to go finish getting ready for work. Until next time...
