So I'm driving down I-10 to RDLC for a nice iced tea and some quality time with my new NE rogue on Detheroc, when low and behold, somebody had an unkind message for Ron and he wanted the world to know it.
You know those road signs on the shoulder that have advisory messages about delays or road work or something of the like? Yeah, those. This on was programmed to say, and I quote, "FUCK U RON / FUCK U / FUCK U RON"
It was the most amazing thing I'd ever personally seen on the road; it's also why I need a new cell phone, one with a kick ass camera.
In other news, I'm still working for FEMA and Shaw, despite numerous personnel cuts during the past few weeks. I've apparently proven my worth, but not enough to the point where they tell _me_ that they're keeping me on. So we'll see what happens there.
If they keep me on, great, I love my job and I want to keep doing it as long as I can. 5large a month is very hard to turn down.
If not, I'll look around town for a job no more than two weeks; if I can't find anything, I'm enlisting and stating my desire to serve my country in whatever capacity they deem me fit for.
Maybe the Army can get my ass in shape.
Speaking of Army, I talked to Quigs online tonight while he's in Iraq. He "sounds" (there are no sounds on AIM) like he's doing well. Or, at the least, he hasn't been shot yet, despite his claim of killing 200 terrorists. Go Quigs go.
