Chillin at RDLC (Rue de la Course, takes too long to spell) listening to some tunes and awaiting a call from a friend who's supposed to come in and have a tasty fermented grain beverage. I've been well since the past post, just working probably far too much and really getting exhausted. These 5:30 wake up calls are getting rougher to handle, and it's getting harder to get out of bed right away, no matter how early i get to bed.
(aside) there's a really cute blonde two tables down from me. But she hasn't made eye contact, guess...nope, nevermind there was eye contact. Guess she's not into good-looking latino guys with a beard.
Anyway, work is going well; I completed training for RFO (ready for occupancy) and how actually to lease somebody into their trailer when that time comes. Hopefully soon I'll be able to reap the rewards of the numerous hours of labor.
Car trouble again. This time I have to get a whole new oil pan because the existing pan's threads are stripped. Expensive, but thankfully I'm making enough money to where I can pay it off. That's a nice luxury to have right now.
Saw good news is out there in the lives of my friends. Suzy Q's engaged (CONGRATS!) and Steve's off to OCS (good luck and kick ass out there). Too bad Steve's an asshole for saying my entrance music would be Shamrocks and Shennanigans. It's obvious my entrance music would be either Tito Puente's Cuban Pete, 50 Cent's P.I.M.P., AC/DC's Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, Jay-Z's Big Pimpin, Korn's ADIDAS (cause I'm a hornball), the opening song from Desperado (Banderas Hayek version), ... actually come to think of it, all those songs are nice, but the only true song that could serve as my entrance music is Notorious B.I.G.'s Big Poppa.
Why? Cause I love it when ya call me Big Pop-pa, and I see some ladies tonight that should be having my baby, baby. Like the cute brunette next to the cute blonde. Or the cuter brunette that just walked in. What?!
Anyway, awaiting a call which likely isn't coming cause for as much as Cuban is back home, none of his friends call. Makes me miss Tuscaloosa.
I still haven't decided 100 percent whether or not I'll come back if nominated for the PIR spot at Mallet. Odds are I will, but it all strongly depends on what happens in the next three to four months. Those nominations will be sooner than we think and my decision will have to be made before the date arrives. In order for me to accept the nomination, I must be fully ready to accept the position upon election and know that I'll be coming back to Ttown in August. As to what I'll do there (i.e. grad school, full time job, etc.) is still uncertain and something I must weigh carefully in order to make this decision. I want to do it for the right reasons, and not just to get away from the real world for a whiule. I may seek counsel from Rush and Butler Cain if I can get in touch with the latter. It'd be nice to be back though and serving the Assembly again. I do miss it. Yes, even the smelly halls. We'll see where God leads me in the next few months.
