I've made a perfect fagot

Whew. That first Spring yardwork is fun. I would have chosen a later date given my back's current condition, recovery, but the neighbours started it first. They were nice enough of course to trim my side of the hedge as well. So, in collecting the trimmings I've made the perfect fagot. Did you think the subject title was in reference to something else? Gawd. Idiots. I shall have to take a pretty picture with it.

In other news, the Tosca Navarre (is that the name?) the Tapas Bar in the strip looks good. Wonderful interior, with a gigantic old wooden bar area with an enormous mirror, and splendid old woodwork throughout, except as a friend pointed out, the chosen lighting is a bit off. Good selection of liquids, including Penn Marzen on tap on special. The menu looked excellent with around 2 dozen tapas, most priced 5-8$, and a few paellas for larger appetites. Unfortunately the kitchen closes around 11:30, a bit too early, especially sadly for us last night. I plan to return, perhaps on the coming weekend, so if anyone would like to accompany, let me know.

The entire evening after that, until 5am, makes for some good stories, but shall not yet be recounted.
