The main thing I have learned during this semester at CU is that YOU are the jey factor in your life. YOU cannot control your surroundings, YOU cannot control the people around you, YOU cannot always control your situation, therefore there is only one thing you can control...YOURSELF! YOU are the key factor in your life. While you can't change the things around you, You can always change how you react to certain things. Instead of punching someone in the face who made you mad, grin until your anger and turned into hilarity over the other person wondering why you are smiling so hard. Instead of instigating more trouble with an enemy, be as nice as possible, they will be even more so threated by that. Instead of complaining about being in a loud dorm, realize that things can't always go how you want them so learn to study in a nosey surrounding or simply go somewhere else. We stress over things that we cannot change and because they don't change we stress even more. It's awful how we cause our own lives to be miserable. While your parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and any other adult figure in your life my tell you what to do and what to do, ultimatley it is your life, therefore it is your choice, your decision. While the law does not always agree, in reality free will allows you to control your own, but nothing but your own. If your free will invades that of another's you are no longer adept to do what you want. So mayb eI got off topic, but rambling is a gift... God Bless.
