I parked and walked towards the school playground to pick up Cassandra and Nicholas.
The third grade class walked by me; they were heading to check out the tulips near the driveway entrance. (I think they planted them in the fall.)
The first grade classroom had their windows open; I could hear recorders being played. As I got closer, I also heard voices singing along.
Both kindergarten classes were out at the playground (where they normally end class) along with today's Parent/Child class, while the seventh/eighth grade class sat nearby, working on wood carving.
When I walked Cassandra and one of her classmates in to use the bathrooms, her classmate finished sooner (having used the closer bathroom) and was helping the assistant teacher put away the chairs in the classroom while waiting for us.
