Delita on Toph: Toph is, Delita will admit to himself, very much like a little sister to him. Which is interesting, because she's nothing like the little sister he had, but she is still very much a little girl in his eyes, and he can't help but want to be protective of her. He also knows she is powerful in her own right and won't stop her from picking her battles because she's not defenseless and he knows what it feels like to be belittled when you're perfectly able to do something. He is very fond of her.

Jizabel on Merry: Oh, Merry. ♥ Jizabel doesn't see her as a member of his family, even though they're related. But neither does he see her as just another one of fathers' pawns, because she isn't. Rather, he sees her as a mini-Cain; she is very defiant, sharp-tongued, and bright. If he were more in his right mind, he would value that sort of disposition in a young girl, but he's not, so. |D Instead, she's sort of fun to taunt occasionally, and one of these days he'll probably kidnap her. Because that way he'll cause anguish for her, which causes anguish for Cain and Riff. It will be like killing two birds with one scalpel.
