FIVE FAVORITE "MAD MEN" SEASON SEVEN (2014-2015) Episodes
1. (7.11) "Time & Life" - Don Draper, along with the other executives of Sterling Cooper & Partners, struggle to save their firm from being closed down by the parent company, McCann Erickson, and its staff swallowed by the latter.
2. (7.03) "Field Trip" - During a trip to Southern California, Don admits to his estranged wife Megan Draper that he has been on leave from SC&P since the previous year. Meanwhile, ex-wife Betty Francis decides to accompany son Bobby Draper on a field trip that ends in disappointment.
3. (7.07) "Waterloo" - Jim Cutler attempts to have Don fired from SC&P for breach of contract, but Don quashes the effort with Roger Sterling and Bert Cooper's support. After watching the historic moon landing on television in July 1969, Cooper passes away.
4. (7.02) "A Day’s Work" - During the Valentine's Day holiday, Pete Campbell clashes with Cutler over the new Chevrolet contract. Copywriter Peggy Olson clashes with her secretary Shirley over a misunderstanding regarding roses and the firm's new Creative Director, Lou Avery, insists that someone replaces his secretary (Don's former secretary), Dawn Chambers.
5. (7.13) "The Milk and Honey Route" - Betty receives bad news regarding her health, while Don experiences misadventures on the road. Despite my distaste regarding Betty's fate, I found this episode admirable, thanks to January Jones' performance.
