Worst St. Patrick's Day EVER! It's not even over yet!
My computer died a horrible, horrible death this morning. My hard drive, for one brief, shining hour, surpassed Soviet-era Red Square as the most corrupt place in the history of planet Earth. I tried several methods of accessing, backing up, or restoring my data, but to no avail. I have lost everything.
I discovered today that one of my lucky cats (maneki neko) was broken. How does one of those break!? They sit on my shelf, for Pete's sake! This can only be an omen... Anyway, I tried gluing it back together, but I'm not very good at that sort of thing, so I'm afraid it's ruined for good.
Also, just recently, the Evil Baguette of Doom was broken! That had been sitting on my shelf (a different shelf) for months, as well, and it breaks! It's tough to glue petrified bread back together, so I don't think I'll try that.
So, long story short, things are breaking all around me. This hasn't been a good day at all.
So, short story slightly longer, if any of the cute girls who read this journal (and I can think of at least 6 off the top of my head) want to send me pictures of themselves looking cute for the purposes of brightening my day and beginning to restore my previously ample "pictures of people I care about" collection, it would certainly be appreciated.
