And maybe you're gonna be the one that saves me
...and maybe you're not
So while I was scared that part of my childhood would be bastardized by the Transformers movie I am happy to report that it was freaking AMAZING. It was so fast paced, and had so many references even subtle ones to the old show. I highly recommend seeing it.
So to anyone who cares about MSU band auditions I printed out my excerpts the other day and played through two of the three pages and felt pretty good about them. And then today I played the one page soprano solo and realized how incredibly screwed I am. Weeeell at least I know what I have to work on.
Due to summer being boring I've been playing a ton of saxophone lately. I feel like I'm falling in love with my saxophone all over again and it's loverly. And yes I realize that's an incredibly nerdy thing to say but if you don't like it suck it. SWC in two weeks, should be interesting and hopefully fun.
