If you could erase could erase something from your life what would it be? Any memory, any situation, any time period, any person, what would it be? And when it really came down to it do you think you could?
Now if you could relive any day from your life what would it be and why?
Do you think other forms of life on this planet have memory like us? Can a squirrel remember the internal rush of an exciting moment that it's experienced? Is it possible that a dolphin can connect an emotion to a specific time of its life? Do spiders remember the most scared they've ever been? I find it hard to believe. I think that we as humans remember things in a unique way, which is just another gift that this life provides us. And why us? Why humanity of all tings. We're not exceptionally strong or well adapted for our environment save for our intelligence. Why are we the ones graced with all these unique traits? The ability to create something like St. Peter's Basilica, the Mona Lisa, a violin, a wedding gown, Third Symphony, the kiss.
For those of you who haven't seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, change that...NOW! In the words of Shane A Stecher, "Easily one of my top five movies of all time" and I couldn't agree with him more. Take a minute to think back on some of your greatest memories and be thankful for them. Have a wonderful day.
