Working...YAY!!!
Yesterday I started working at Sikorsky. Monday I worked at Yale then was told not to return. Wednesday I called a friend of mine who works at Sikorsky, she gave me the number of the temp agency that placed her there. I called them the same day and they told me they would get back to me. I wasn't going to hold my breath. The next day however they did call me and now, as of yesterday, I am a Sikorsky employee. Well, actually I am a Universal Staffing employee working for Sikorsky, but it is still Sikorsky. To say I am excited is an understatement. It is Monday through Friday 8-4:30, and most importantly, it is a foot in the door. I might actually be able to go somewhere with this job. Only time will tell. More later as I am on the clock right now. My entries might be sporadic since my week is pretty packed Monday through thursday 8AM till about 11PM.
