From my experiments, I have concluded that the best over all time for reheating food in the microwave is approximatly 45 seconds. Unfortunatly for mankind, most conventional microwaves have a 30 second button and a 1 minute button. while these buttons are easy on the fingers, neither satisfies the perfect timing for reheating as one is too cold and the other is too hot. Surely one could simply press the 1 minute button and halt operations at the 45 second tick appears, but that requiers dedicated time. In approxematly 3/5ths of my experiments with the 1 minute button ended in tragedy as my attention was diverted at the critical 45 second period. I feel as if all of mankind (atleast the developed nations of the world) would tremendously benifit from a designated 45 second button.
