A - 3 - The Girls! Mikan, Midorin, Murasaki.
B - 1 - The Boys! Akai, Kou, Aoi, Tobi, Gin.
C - 1 - RNG! Four random characters.

"It's a train, it's a train, it's a traaaaaaaain!" Mikan-tan shouted, her excitement plain to see on her face. "We're on a traaaaiiiiin!" as she shouted, she couldn't help but bounce around the train car. Nearby, in a first-class seat, sat Murasaki-dono, with her attention focused entirely on her novel. She, too, was excited, but she wouldn't let it show. She was quite refined in every way which gave no exception to vacations. She was looking forward to relaxing on this trip and she hoped that Mikan's antics would happen well away from her.

"You'll get wrinkles if you keep making faces like that, Murasaki" Midorin said with a grin. She was teasing her purple companion, for her own enjoyment, and was pleased when Murasaki shot her a momentary "How dare you" look before smiling politely. "Then they will be my first wrinkles, Midorin." Her smile looked polite enough, but it was a cover for her next comment. "You seem to have all kinds of experience with wrinkles, perhaps I'll turn to you for advice."

Before Midorin could react, Mikan bounded between them and asked, loudly "Hey hey hey hey heeeey hey hey! How long are we on this train, anyway!?"

A - 1 - Short ride! One hour.
B - 1 - Long ride! Eight Hours!
C - 3 - Who knows? RNG between 1 and 10 hours! (2)

"Two hours, Mikan. Sit down already." Midorin responded, looking at Mikan with a look that offered no room for questioning. A disappointed look crossed her face for a brief moment as she plopped down in the seat, but the look was quickly replaced by a big smile. "Games!" she exclaimed.

Midorin would have commented in disapproval, normally. She didn't normally get the chance to see Murasaki unhappy, though. She and the elegant purple woman had their friendship and many things they both enjoyed just as much as their disagreements and various things that they didn't see eye to eye about. Worse yet was that they each had things that they envied about eachother. Often they felt the need to tease one another without end, though rarely in public.

"Games sound fantastic, Mikan. All three of us have to play, of course." Midorin responded as a grin spread over her features. She knew that Murasaki was rarely impolite to Mikan; the youth was impressionable after all. As Murasaki opened her mouth to speak, the sudden approach of a certain primary-colored character caught all three of them off guard.

"What are you doing here?"

A - Akai-san!
B - Kou-kun!
C - Aoi-sama!
