Isn't it strange when things happen backwards?

Ok, so I was going to go to an advisor about the letter I got first, then study in the language lounge and go to class, then go
to talk to someone about internship/job opportunities.

I get to the poly sci floor and find the advisor whom I start talking to, and first thing she says is that I should talk to a Liberal Arts advisor about the letter (wait, isn't poly sci a Liberal Art? silly lady =P ). Then I start talking to her about how my semester is going and start to cry a little (which I hate to do in front of strangers) and she tells me that she had a problem like that her senior year of college, and was told by the counsellor that she had depression/anxiety (Yay for me!) and got pills to stablize her and helped her through the year (yay pills). So she suggests I talk to a counsellor about how things are going. I also told her about how I don't know what I want to do and so she gives me a booklet about careers in poly sci (basically anything except hard sciences, arts, and language; yes Jenny, even journalism; I can be a journalist before Jenny! =P). I then went and made an appointment with a Liberal Arts advisor who deals with Poly Sci (wtf?, whats the difference between that and a Poly Sci advisor, which is a Liberal Arts major?). The appointment was for after my Indo class.

Then I go to the language learning center to try and study for Indonesian. The audio parts of the activity book don't work, and so I just try to study for a bit. But the place is like a tomb, and is nearly silent. I can't take the silence so I decide to go to the Student Center. Little did I realize that it is just after 12:30 and the lunch rush is on, so the place is packed. Plus I didn't bring money so no food for me. But I did run into Jordan Simon, and we talked for a bit before he headed off to class. I started reading the booklet on poly sci careers, and then start studying for Indonesian. I have no idea where we are and so just try to read and translate everything I can and look up what I can't. I then head off to Indo and get there about half hour before the class starts. I read a paper that I picked up for a bit, and then study a bit more. Class was ok, and I get a CD from my teacher so I can have audio for the activity book (yay! sound!). Then I run into Tabitha, who has a class right after my Indo class, in the same room (sentance no work, gramar functions down).

I headed off to see the LAS advisor, and wait around for a few minutes before I get to talk to him. Once he gets there he takes me down to his office and we talk for a bit. He says I should go talk to the cousellors down at the Career Resource Center (Same place that the other advisor told me to go get help, and the same place I was going to go to look at internships/jobs) . He gave me the number for the Career Resource Center and told me to call them so I could "stop this downward nose dive" as he said (and I'll call them as soon as I stop talking with kyle =P).

So yea, interesting day. I wanted to talk with an advisor about the letter, then go to class, then look for stuff on internships and careers. And I did it all backwards.
