As per the norm, it's just one damn thing after another.....
When I took my sneakers off yesterday, I noticed that the big toe on my left foot was kinda red, and it hurt. I figured it was probably just rubbing against my sneaker, and didn't think much of it. I barely slept at all, because the pain from the toe kept waking me up. Upon getting up this morning (at the ungodly hour of 3:30 am) I found that the toe was still red and very sore. Seems that the nail might be getting ingrown. Attempts to clip the nail simply resulted in more pain. It doesn't seem too bad now, but I have some decent socks on underneath the sneakers.
I certainly don't want to have to go to the doctor for this; I'm hoping that it will work out on its own.
I stopped at the bank's ATM machine on my way home from dropping Hubby at work. I checked my account balance, and suddenly there's a lot more money in there than I had figured on, even considering that Newport News refunded my $50. I had also expected that they were sending me a check for the overdrawn charge. Even if they had sent it to my bank, I figure that there was at least $10 more in there than there should be.
This is why I hate banks. All banks. Credit Unions too (because they're even worse!) It doesn't seem to matter how careful I am about recording my spending and withdrawls. There's always something wrong or different. Do I just not get it? Or is there some little gremlin who works for my bank, who delights in messing up my account?
Does anyone else have this problem? I certainly don't want to feel all alone in my banking misery!
