Just wondering why a certain person who's been on vacation for 2 weeks can't find the time to update her journal......
Another day off, another day that nothing gets done. I sit at the computer and play solitaire and cry. I did manage (in between sobbing sessions) to call my doctor. I got that wonderful nurse of his - Mark - who told me that he sent out a letter of medical necessity to my insurance company last Friday. Exsqueeze me, Mark honey, but shouldn't you have done that a week or two ago?? It's 3 weeks tomorrow since the doc told me it would only take "a few days" to deal with getting the Syn-Visc shots.
I also managed to straighten things out with Newport News. They charged me twice for Jess's jacket, and sent me 2 of them. The 2nd erroneous shipment caused a negative balancein my checking account, for which the bank charged me $28. (Talk about making a bad situation even worse!) I sent the 2nd shipment back with the UPS guy, and Newport has promised to make good on both the over-charge and the bank fee. I just need to find time tomorrow now to call my bank and have them fax a statement with the fee on it.
No, there's never enough work for me to do.
Why is it that the only easy thing in life is getting screwed?!?
