Heck yes I got new speakers
So I had a really great time this weekend with Jill. She showed up late Friday, lots of relaxing and Mario Party 6, then Saturday was awesome. I saw this "Mega-Liquidation" ad for some big thing in Yakima, so knowing that Jill was only here till this morning we had to go. I spent $16 getting jill and I in, plus parking, and HOLY CRAP was it insane. Basically 9/10 of the people there spoke spanish, they had HELLA illegal shit, like there were these jamaican guys selling bongs and shit. I finally found the computer and speaker department. Bought me some $12.99 computer speakers for the cab, and some $30 6x9's for my car. Jill and I both got creeped out by the sheer amount of illegal content (fake name brands included), but I left happy. Later we ate at the Olive Garden, watched Dodgeball, and had an excellent nights sleep.
So she left at 11 am today which made me sad, but I did do some research on installing those 6x9's in my car, found out all I needed from radioshack was a pair of needle nose pliers & a crescent wrench, went down and bought all of it for $9.90 (glitch in their system :) ) and installed that shit! Took me 3 hours, from this afternoon till three to get my old speakers out, new speakers in, wired up, tested, taken to an empty parking lot to bump and find a rattle, and successfully installed. Alls I gotta do now is cut the stock speaker grills to fit the speakers and they'll be completely stock looking!
