Character names and notes.
The Grad Student (GS) - He has a name, it’s just not very important to the story so far.
Rachel - Innocent, lamb. A Hebrew name fitting her personality.
SHAYLEE - Fairy princess of the field. I wanted to give her a unique name to offset that the main character has none at all.
Interesting note - DYMPNA - patron saint of the mentally ill. It caught my eye for a bit, but it was just a little too weird.
The entire concept for the arm is factual. People have been working on something similar for about four years now. It works by tapping into the electricity that nerves give off that triggers a finger, or arm to move. The prosthetic detects this and moves. Yay! Synaptic response!
