(no subject)
I went to the walk-in last night because i felt absolutely miserable yesterday, my voice was gone, and mrs. ward was pretty much pissed that my singing was less-than top-notch. They took my temp, which was running 102- probably why i was freezing all day long.
I was afraid it was strep, but thankfully, that test came back negative.
the flu test, however, came back positive after a minute and a half, and they said it usually takes atleast ten minutes to see anything. I'm contagious until my fever goes away completely, so i had to miss the preview today at the factory. and somewhat luckily, the act was cancelled- but rescheduled for next saturday...: \ The doctor basically said they couldnt do anything except give me a prescription the cuts down the length of the flu, but nothing but otc meds will help the symptoms. I cried when I heard that.
I don't know what it is about junior year, but it's killed my immune system and everything occurs at the most inopportune times.
and no, I didn't write this to be dramatic. Mainly I want to thank everyone who has put up with my weepiness and crankiness the last couple of days- i love you all.
