First off...DARK KNIGHT IS AMAZING. <3333
Okay, now on to some chaos.
I just got home from the ER...from getting in an accident with
(liz).
what happened:
Apparently, some fedex truck(THAT WAS HUGE HOLY CRAP) guy was falling asleep a the wheel. Another guy in front of us was honking his horn *didn't here it at all* to wake the truck driver up. Mind you, while liz was driving me home, we were of course talking like any two people do to keep each other awake while on the highway at 3am-ish.
So, while the talking was going on I so happened to look to my right and see THAT THE HUGE TRUCK WAS COMING IN OUR LANE EVEN THOUGH WE WERE DEAD CENTER OF THE STUPID TRUCK. >:( So, I suddenly scream out an, "OH CRAP!" Liz turns the wheel so hard that we start doing scary donuts in the middle of the 55 S freeway NEXT TO MEAT AVE. OVERPASS(WHAT?!).
As we're spinning, my first thought was, "WHEE THIS IS FUN," then, "OK CRAP THIS IS GOING TO HURT." So, I go completely limp like my old chief instructor from karate told everyone to do if we ever get in an accident. I closed my eyes a bit and just let things go to whatever it will go to. Saw some white light, then black.
I open my eyes to some haze and think first, "Okay, I'm alive...but it's getting hard to BREAAAATHE." So, I try EVER SO HARD to find the lock on the door BECAUSE IT JUST HAS TO BE IN THE MOST INCONVIENT SPOT. Then I start thinking, "OH CRAP THE CAR COULD EXPLODE AND I CAN'T BREATHE AT ALL NOW. NEED. AIR. NOW." So, I finally find the lock and throw the door open and think, "HOLY CRAP I LOVE AIR," then, "LIZ!" I noticed she wasn't moving for a second so I start to head back now that I can breathe and then I saw her move and was all, "Okay, she's able to move and I still can't breathe to well."
She finally gets out and I try to take her behind the railing that stopped us from going into some huge ditch. THEN. FOR SOME ODD REASON. ........I GO BACK FOR MY PURSE. (LOL WUT?!) Yes, even though the car was FOREVER PARKED in the middle of the freeway...LOL I WENT BACK FOR MY PURSE. LOL AND IT WASN'T EVEN HARMED...nor was I. I come back and Liz calls one of her friends and I call 911(...LOL EVEN THOUGH I TOTALLY THOUGHT SHE WAS CALLING THEM).
By the way, the whole time this was happening, I WAS TOTALLY CALM. >_> WHAT THE HECK?! She's usually the one to be the calm one and I usually freak out. I think we switched bodies. lol
So, anyway, I call. The entire city comes without the marching band. They do clean up for the highway. WHILE THIS WAS GOING ON, Beth calls to tell us that some jerk truck driver is driving weird and we should watch out for him. LOL THANKS BETH A BIT TOO LATE THOUGH, BUT IT'S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS. (LOL you know i love you.) Liz freaks out and tells Beth not to come and that she's worried she'll end up getting all into everything and hurt and crap.
BY THE WAY, cars kept coming and quite a few kept hitting Liz' car(nothing would turn on to give anyone a heads up) but only two cars actually stopped and pulled to the side of the road. LOL THANKS.
So anyways, as everything was finishing up some firemen found some stuff that was partially saved from Liz's car...of course nothing that was really useful but HEY! THEY FOUND STUFF! That's when I noticed, "HEY GUYS I'M TOTALLY BLIND RIGHT NOW...I HOPE MY GLASSES WEREN'T LEFT IN YOUR CAR.
" LOL THEN BY SOME MIRACLE, LIZ SEES MY GLASSES...and thinks they're totally ruined. She tells the firemen to get them anyway for me and when the guy does he's all in a sarcastic voice, "Well they're kinda dusty...you still want them?" I was all, "...YAY GLASSES I CAN SEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" LOL THEY FOUND THEM AS IF SOMEONE HAD FOLDED THEM UP AND PUT THEM ON A NIGHTSTAND! I LOL'D HARD! LOL WE ALL DID!
So after getting a bunch of trash from the car and shoving it into Beth's trunk(I'm so glad beth came back for us), we call
(renet) and let her know what happened.
Later, we all met up at Norms. HOLY CRAP THEY TOOK FOREVER TO GET US A BAG OF FREAKING ICE. JFKLF that place just annoyed me, but we got some water from there anyway and got something in us to hold us over from all that...like Beth's piece of pancake. LOL We were vicious to that pancake. lol So, after that Renet tells Liz and I to go to the ER and get ourselves checked out to make sure we're ok. (THANKS!
) HOLY CRAP 3 OR 4 HOURS WENT BY WHILE WE WERE THERE. LOL Freaky things were going on there, guys...FREAKY THINGS AND SCARY NOISES.
LOL In the end the doctors told us we were fine but would feel very sore for a while. I'm just glad everyone's ok AND SAFELY HOME...SOMEWHAT...I'M STARTING TO FEEL THAT SORENESS NOW.
